Brief Description
The YFM Wednesday Night Dinner is a dinner and metaphysical discussion forum for 6th to 12th graders. Using teen-oriented publications, such as “Lessons in Truth for Teens,” the Uniteens and YOUers lead the discussion while learning and growing together by engaging in an affirmative inquiry process. This weekly events allow the ministry to foster teen involvement even if they are no longer available for Sunday services.
Purpose
The purpose of the YFM Wednesday Night Dinner is to offer an opportunity for the Uniteens and YOUers to connect outside of a Sunday schedule. Experience since the pandemic showed that Sundays are no longer ideal for the teenagers to meet and focus on their spirituality. By offering a mid-week alternative, the ministry is able to connect with their youngest congregants in a casual and supportive settings.
