A Letter from Rev. Susan Gumm

Hello Friends of USCR,

Susan-Gumm.jpg

What an interesting year this has turned out to be in ministry. COVID-19 has challenged us to be innovative and creative in how we do ‘church’. Our normal ways of connecting with one another have been placed on hold as our in-person Unity People’s Convention and our own USCR Conference in Boulder, Colorado, were canceled for 2020.

My dear friends and colleagues, I want you to know how much I have enjoyed your company over these many, many years. I retired as minister of Unity on the Avenue in Denver at the end of June and relocated to Missoula, Montana, so I am no longer part of this marvelous region. USCR has been the only region I have know since my journey into Unity began in 1984. I have grown so much with all of you dear ones in my life. You are all so very special. It has been my honor and privilege to serve on your board, to work with our tireless conference team and to know so many of you I call friends. I look forward to connecting in the future, hopefully in person at the 2021 Unity People’s Conference!

Your board of trustees for USCR has worked hard to bring you ways to connect with our rolling conferences each month. If you have not yet participated, please plan on doing so for our day-long Virtual USCR Conference on Friday, October 23 featuring Robert Brumet and Paulette Pipe.

My term serving on the USCR Board is complete as of my last board meeting on October 8. Thank you for all your support for our past conferences and you can look forward to the 2021 USCR Conference at Unity Village in 2021.

Stay safe. Stay Well. Stay Prayed-up.

Susan
